It is day 2 of my 6 week challenge and I am really impressed that I have made it this far. There was no easing in. It was more like dive right in and try to make it to the end without throwing up. I think I have the meal plan right. I have to eat a little more than the recommended 1200 calories because I am still breastfeeding. Breastfeeding mothers are recommended to eat 500 more calories than a regular diet, so I am going to try to stick around 1700. The first fews days of eating healthy are always the hardest because of the withdrawal. I will soon be feeling great and won't miss the sugar highs and lows.
This challenge seems very well organized and supportive. The owner is so quick to respond to questions and the Facebook group helps too. Each we I score individual points and team points. I can not wait to see what the rest of the challenge brings.
Today I have had my protein shake for breakfast. It includes: protein powder, skim milk, water, greek yogurt, spinach, frozen blueberries, coconut oil, and peanut butter. It tastes amazing and gives me a good boost in the morning. I think I am on a good start and I just have to keep pushing myself. It's only 6 weeks. I know I can do it!
Here is my salad from yesterday. It was delish! Tuna, almonds, parmesan cheese, radishes, carrots, chives, cucumber, spinach and lettuce. My avacados were not ready or I would have put some in. I used balsamic vinegar for dressing. Mmm
